The Story of Delilah

A childhood memory. A family dream. A world of little treasures.

Once upon a
little ballerina...

It all began with the childhood magic of a jewelry box and its tiny spinning ballerina. A memory that stayed with Delilah and inspired a dream of her own.

Founded in July 2020, Delilah Inc brings that same wonder to personalized keepsakes. Even the name is a family treasure: once her father’s first business name, it became hers, too.

With the love and helping hands of her parents and siblings, her little dream began to grow.

Our Ballerinas

When Delilah Inc first began, it offered only one kind of ballerina. Delilah found herself wishing for one who looked a little more like her and imagined how many girls might share that same wish.

That thought inspired a collection of ballerinas with different skin tones and hair colors, celebrating girls of different races and backgrounds. Each brings the possibility of opening a jewelry box and thinking,

“She looks like me.”

The love behind their names

Their names are close to her heart, too. The ballerinas are named after Delilah’s mother, sisters, and grandmothers, and their stories reflect these women’s real talents and personalities. Each is a little tribute to someone she loves, ready to become part of your story.

And the story continues

Personalizing your keepsake

How do I personalize my jewelry box?

We’d love to help you make it your own! Visit The Atelier to choose your box and size, then add a name or initial and pick your font, color, motif, and ballerina. You can also include a personal note.

How many characters can I add?

Lucille Petite can have one capital initial. Our other jewelry boxes can have a name of up to 10 characters.

Please double-check your spelling before ordering so we can get every letter just right!

Can I choose my ballerina?

Yes! The Atelier has ballerinas with different hair colors and skin tones, so you can find one who feels like you.

We’d love to share the inspiration behind them in Our Story.

Can I add a motif to any lettering style?

Motif options depend on your box and font. Botanical lettering, single initials, and Lucille Petite come without a motif.

The Atelier will show you the options for your design. We’d love to help if you have a question!

Why can’t I select a personalization option?

Some fonts, motifs, and colors can’t be used together. If you can’t select an option, it may be unavailable right now or may not work with your chosen box or font.

The options you can click are the ones available for your design. Need a hand? We’re happy to help!

Where can I see the jewelry box sizes?

You can find sizes and measurements in Collections and The Atelier. We’d love to help you choose!

Lucille comes in Petite, Classique, and Grande. Ophelia comes in Classique and Grande.

Can I include a gift message?

Of course! We’d love to help you add a personal touch. In the “Note to Treasure” step, write a message of up to 300 characters and add your signature. You can also skip this step.

Creating your order

How long does it take to complete my order?

We’re excited to create your keepsake! Please allow up to 7 working days, Monday through Friday, for us to complete your order.

We usually work on orders first come, first served. Shipping then takes 5 to 7 business days.

Do you offer rush orders?

We’d love to check for you! Please email us before ordering with the date you need your keepsake.

Shipping & delivery

Do you ship outside of the U.S.?

We currently ship only within the United States. We’d love to reach more of you, and we’re working on international shipping. We hope to offer it soon!

Do you offer express shipping?

Yes! Shipping is free on every U.S. order and takes 5 to 7 business days. Express Shipping is a flat $18 and arrives in about 3 business days.

Both begin once your keepsake is made, which takes up to 7 working days. You can choose Express Shipping at checkout.

Does the processing time include delivery?

No. Making your order takes up to 7 working days. Shipping takes another 5 to 7 business days after it’s ready, or about 3 business days with Express Shipping.

Need it for a special date? We’d be happy to discuss the timing with you. Please email us before ordering.

Help with your order

What is your policy on returns, exchanges, and refunds?

Because each item is personalized just for you, we’re unable to accept returns or exchanges, including for a change of mind. Thank you for understanding!

We offer refunds only if your item arrives damaged or we make a mistake with your order. If either happens, please email us so we can help.

Please report damage within 24 hours of delivery and include photos of the item and packaging.

Can I cancel my order?

We’re happy to check for you! Please email us as soon as possible with your order details.

We usually start designing within about 12 hours. Cancellation depends on how far along your order is and isn’t guaranteed.

Can I change my personalization after ordering?

We’re happy to help if we haven’t started your order yet! Once work has begun, we’re unable to change the personalization.

What if my jewelry box arrives damaged?

We’re so sorry, and we’re here to help. Please email customerservice@delilahinc.com as soon as possible, within 24 hours of delivery.

Include your order details and clear photos of both the damaged item and its packaging. Items that arrive damaged qualify for a refund, and we’ll help you with the next steps.

What if there is a mistake with my order?

If we’ve made a mistake, we’re sorry and would love to make it right. Please email us with your order details and tell us what happened.

Caring for your little treasure

A few simple ways to keep your keepsake looking lovely.

With a little love

  1. A gentle clean

    Lightly wipe your box with a soft, dry cloth. Take extra care around the name and decorative details, and skip sprays, polish, and scrubbing.

  2. A lovely place to stay

    Keep your box in a cool, dry spot, away from water, direct sunlight, and heat.

  3. Wind with care

    Turn the winding key gently and stop when you feel resistance. Please avoid forcing it any further so the music mechanism stays protected.

  4. Let your ballerina dance

    Let her turn on her own, and keep jewelry clear of her moving parts. Please avoid pulling or twisting her by hand.

  5. Handle with love

    Open and close the lid gently, and lift your box from the base. Keeping the lid closed when it’s resting helps keep dust away.
